It helps so much with the heat and brightness in our orangery and makes the room usable no matter the weather. Michelle was so helpful with getting it sorted as our orangery is large so it wasn't just a standard blind we required. We had a slight issue afterwards but again Michelle was so helpful and this was resolved within a few days so very quickly. Would highly recommend Easy Lantern Blinds!!Posted on John MeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cannot fault either the service or price. We did have an issue after the first install, Michelle was in constant touch keeping us updated as we resolved the problem. The lantern blind, electrically operated via a solar panel / battery combo has done a great job in keeping the heat down during the summer in our orangery.Posted on Malcolm ClarkeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Perfect Fit blinds revolutionise window and door coverage by eliminating the need for drilling, screws, or wall fixings. The innovative Perfect Fit frame clips directly onto your window or door, holding the cellular blind securely within the glass area.
This means no damage to frames, no holes in uPVC, and a completely reversible installation, perfect for rental properties or anyone who wants a damage-free solution. The result is a supremely neat, integrated look where the blind becomes part of the window itself, moving with the door or window when opened and requiring no additional clearance space.
Beyond aesthetics, these blinds deliver genuine practical benefits. The honeycomb cellular fabric creates insulating air pockets that help moderate temperature, potentially reducing heating and cooling costs. Most importantly for families, Perfect Fit blinds are 100% child-safe as all cords are tensioned and hidden within the framework, with no dangerous loops accessible to curious hands.
The cellular construction eliminates the pin-holes you’d find in traditional pleated fabrics, giving you better light control and a more refined appearance.
While blackout fabrics significantly reduce light, please note they won’t provide total darkness, for complete blackout, our Blind screen option is recommended.
Here’s some pictures of our perfect fit blinds:
Our cellular fabrics come in two fabric types: blackout and light filtering / translucent. The blackout option creates a much darker effect, excellent if you have a TV in the room or you want to have the option for a darker room, creating a much cooler temperature.
The light filtering / translucent option is great if you want to close the blind to keep the room nice and cool and to take the glare away from the sun, but still allow some light in to the room.
Both fabric types have excellent thermal properties. The nature of the fabric means that the layer of air that is naturally trapped in between the cells of the fabric reduces thermal transfer, keeping the room cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Perfect Fit blinds are manually operated using simple, user-friendly mechanisms that anyone can master in seconds. You have two operation choices to suit different needs:
Bottom-Up Only The standard option where the blind raises from the bottom, allowing you to adjust how much of the window is covered. Ideal for most applications where you want straightforward up-and-down control.
Top-Down Bottom-Up This versatile option lets you lower the blind from the top or raise it from the bottom—or both simultaneously. Perfect for situations where you want natural light from above while maintaining privacy at eye level, such as ground-floor rooms, bathrooms, or street-facing windows. You can position the blind at any point along the window for customised coverage.
Both systems use tensioned cords hidden safely within the Perfect Fit frame, ensuring smooth, reliable operation for years to come with no exposed cords or safety concerns.
Safety is at the heart of Perfect Fit blind design. Unlike traditional blinds with looped cords that pose strangulation risks, Perfect Fit blinds are engineered to be 100% child-safe from the outset.
All operating cords are tensioned and completely enclosed within the Perfect Fit framework—there are no loops, no hanging cords, and nothing accessible that could endanger children or pets. This makes them an ideal choice for nurseries, children’s bedrooms, playrooms, and any family home where safety is a priority.
The integrated frame design also means no separate chains or wands that can be pulled or tangled, giving you complete peace of mind while maintaining easy, effortless operation for adults.
Perfect Fit blinds are designed for damage-free installation directly onto your window or door frames—no drilling, no screws, no permanent fixtures required. The Perfect Fit frame simply clips securely onto the window beading, holding the blind firmly in place without any modifications to your property.
This makes them particularly suitable for:
Each blind is made-to-measure for your specific glass pane dimensions, ensuring a perfect, tailored fit. Because they’re fitted to individual panes rather than the entire window, you’ll need measurements for each glass panel.
Many customers choose to self-fit Perfect Fit blinds as the clip-on installation is simple and requires no special tools. However, we also offer a professional measure and install service if you’d prefer expert fitting.
Here are some FAQs we get asked about our perfect fit blinds for windows and doors:
What are Perfect Fit blinds? Perfect Fit blinds use a specially designed frame system that clips directly onto your window or door frame, holding the blind securely without any drilling or screws. The blind sits within the glass area, creating a sleek, integrated appearance that moves with opening windows and doors.
Are Perfect Fit blinds child-safe? Yes, 100% child-safe. All cords are tensioned and hidden within the Perfect Fit framework—there are no dangerous loops or hanging cords that could pose strangulation risks. This makes them one of the safest blind options available for family homes.
Do I need to drill holes to install Perfect Fit blinds? No drilling required whatsoever. The Perfect Fit frame clips onto your existing window beading, making installation completely damage-free and reversible. This is perfect for rental properties or if you want to avoid permanent modifications.
What sizes are available? Perfect Fit blinds are made-to-measure for each individual glass pane. We need measurements for every pane you want to cover, ensuring each blind fits precisely. Our measuring guide makes this process straightforward.
Can Perfect Fit blinds be fitted to doors? Absolutely. They’re ideal for door glazing, especially French doors, patio doors, and uPVC doors. Because they’re attached to the door itself, they move with the door when it opens—no interference or catching.
What’s the difference between bottom-up and top-down bottom-up operation? Bottom-up blinds operate in the traditional way, raising from the bottom only. Top-down bottom-up blinds offer more flexibility; you can lower from the top, raise from the bottom, or use both positions simultaneously. This is great for privacy while still allowing natural light from above.
Do blackout Perfect Fit blinds provide complete darkness? Blackout fabrics block most light but won’t provide total darkness. Some light seepage around the frame edges is normal with this type of blind. For complete blackout, we recommend our Blind screen option instead.
What’s the honeycomb cellular fabric? The cellular fabric has a honeycomb structure that creates air pockets for insulation. Unlike single pleated fabrics, there are no visible pin-holes or perforations, giving better light control and a more refined appearance from both sides.
Can I get fabric samples? Yes, we’re happy to send free fabric samples so you can see the quality and colours in your home before ordering. Please contact us to order a sample.
Are Perfect Fit blinds suitable for conservatories? Perfect Fit blinds are excellent for conservatories, especially on windows and doors. They don’t interfere with window operation and provide insulation to help regulate temperature. However, they’re not suitable for sloped conservatory roof glazing.
How do I clean Perfect Fit blinds? Simply dust regularly or use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment. The cellular structure resists dust buildup, making maintenance minimal. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners on the fabric.
Can Perfect Fit blinds be removed and refitted? Yes, the clip-on system can be removed if needed and refitted elsewhere, though this isn’t recommended for frequent removal as it may affect the frame’s grip over time.
Will Perfect Fit blinds work with tilt-and-turn windows? Yes, Perfect Fit blinds are ideal for tilt-and-turn windows because they’re attached to the window itself and move with it, unlike traditional blinds mounted on the wall.
What’s the difference between Perfect Fit and other types of blinds? Perfect Fit blinds integrate directly into the window frame without drilling, provide child-safe operation with hidden cords, and move with opening windows. They’re generally more affordable than electric options while still offering excellent insulation and neat appearance.
How long do Perfect Fit blinds take to be delivered? Delivery times vary, but we’ll provide an estimated timeframe when you order. Because they’re made-to-measure, please allow time for manufacturing to your exact specifications.
